I am currently in my fourth year at San Jose State, majoring in Animation/Illustration. The amount of A/I classes have spanned from traditional animation, painting, perspective, and figure drawing. As of right now, I am currently in a beginning visual development class along with a short film project that will last the rest of this semester. In terms of science classes, I have taken Descriptive Astronomy, Biology: The Living World, and am currently in a Planet Earth Lab. Once I graduate (most likely 2015), I would like to seek a position as a visual development artist in the film or game industry.
This first image is from the class "Intermediate Project." We spent about two months planning for two forest renderings painted in acrylic paint. The following is the daytime forest.
The second image is from my beginning visual development class. We had to set a still-life with three objects, photograph it, and render it digitally as realistic as possible. I think it turned out better than I thought it would, but I could still use work on my digital painting in general.
The video below is from my Intermediate Animation class, where we had to develop a short film about anything.
